Countries Explored

Nigeria

Home Country

"Nigeria, I must say, is quite an imperfect country. However, the beauty, order and elegance that stem up from its basket of imperfections inspire me beyond words. Truth be told, there's no place I'd rather call home."

Thailand

August, 2015 - September, 2015

"You don't get to see elephants making a still-life painting everyday. It's an elegant sight to behold. However, nothing compares to the naturally calming sight of elephants having a quick lunch of hay and bananas. Lookout for the two, and you'll be amazed!!"

United States

August, 2016 - August, 2017

"I always thought of the United States as one of the greatest nations in the world. My year there has only made me more amazed. Of course, the US has its flaws; flaws which seem to be eating it up slowly. Regardless of that, I still hope to explore every part of this land someday - the land we know as the land of promise."

South Korea

September, 2017 - December, 2017

"Seoul was soulless, we would always say; for the weather was icy and the sun was always in hiding. Howbeit, the gimbap shop next door gave me more comfort than I expected, the parties at Itaewon scream nostalgia, and the soju bottle is a bottle of ingenuity(next to the Nigerian palm wine, of course). Learn to say the word "Kamsamnida" ; it'll take you places."

India

January, 2018 - May, 2018

"India is like Nigeria, the only home outside home I've ever had. The chapati and tea can't get any lovelier, the weather can't get any hotter, and the beautiful smiles you encounter everyday can't make you any happier. When it rains, it smells like the porridge my mom makes and feels like a boat sitting calmly on a lake. If you ever go there, smile!!! You'll get a thousand more smiles back."

Germany

September, 2018 - Present

"It's great to see how far this country has come, despite the events in it's history. The lake at Engelbecken has become my favorite spot to sit at night and think, feed the swans, and appreciate the beauty which Germany radiates. 4 months isn't enough time to explore the vastly admirable land, and I hope to come back someday."

Argentina

January, 2019 - May, 2019

"Empanadas, Palermo, Mate; these three words would forever keep me reminiscing my love for Buenos Aires. The country's culture is chill, ice vodka is chiller, and its citizens are the most delightful people I've ever had a chance to meet. Be prepared for hugs!!!, you're gonna get loads of them"
